Ballechin is de zwaar getorfte single malt van de Edradour-distilleerderij in Perthshire, met een fenolgehalte van zo'n 50 ppm. De productie startte in 2003 en de eerste vaste 10-jarige verscheen in 2014. De naam eert een nabijgelegen boerderijdistilleerderij die in 1927 sloot en die door Alfred Barnard in de jaren 1880 werd beschreven als producent van geturfde whisky. De rook landt op het van nature dikke, romige distillaat van Edradour.
