Three Ships is het toonaangevende whiskymerk van Zuid-Afrika, in 1977 gelanceerd en sinds 1990 geproduceerd in de historische James Sedgwick Distillery in Wellington (West-Kaap), de oudste distilleerderij van Afrika, opgericht in 1886 door kapitein James Sedgwick. Onder de vermaarde master distiller Andy Watts groeide het merk uit tot pionier van de Zuid-Afrikaanse whisky, met in 2003 de eerste single malt van het land. Three Ships staat bekend om toegankelijke, internationaal bekroonde blends naast single malts, waarbij het warme Zuid-Afrikaanse klimaat zorgt voor een relatief snelle, rijke rijping op eik. Het merk valt onder de Distell Group.
